How does it work?
The application process involves a short consultation to determine the client’s needs as well as matching the correct hair color. From there, the extensions will be ordered and the stylist and client will make an appointment to have them applied. The first application usually takes 2 hours, compared to 8-10 hours for other methods. Following the initial application the process of removing the extensions and then reapplying typically takes about 1.5 hours.
How is it applied?
The unique product and reason why Hair Lingerie doesn’t ruin hair is because the panel is applied flat distributing the weight evenly. The adhesive polymer allows for movement and flexibility also contributing to the healthy hair concept. Other extension lines tend to crimp and cinch the hair whether they are sewn in, bonded, or clamped. How is it removed?
Hair Lingerie is removed with a formulated adhesive specially designed to not damage the hair. If one feels that they are done having Hair Lingerie, they can schedule a simple appointment to have them removed, which takes only about 30 minutes.
Is Hair Lingerie Reusable?
YES!!! Some clients have experienced reusing the same Hair Lingerie panels for as long as 18 months.
How does it affect styling?
This hair is to be treated like any normal head of hair, so using a gentle shampoo and applying conditioner mid-shaft to ends is most appropriate. Occasionally a clarifying shampoo will insure proper cleansing, and like most hair a deep conditioning treatment is recommended. The hair can be treated like the hair you have on your head. Obviously the blow dry and styling time will increase based on the number of panels added to your hair, but the results are incredible.
